About the Studio
Right now the Studio has over 40 students enrolled in the weekly lesson program.
The piano studio focuses on making sure students succeed at the piano in a supportive, efficient and results-proven way.
I'm also a mom of two kids of my own and I understand the need to find activities that my kids can do that they not only love but don't stress me out as well. That's why I love to help my student's parents out by having easy online billing and a no-hassle online way to reschedule lessons. We all have things that pop up and need to reschedule from time to time-- and that's okay!
My students have the opportunity to perform, compete, or just learn at a fast pace so they can play that cool song they always wanted to play.
"Courtney is an excellent teacher, patient & warm."
About Your Instructor
Coming from a musical family, I started studying piano at the age of 7. I quickly realized that piano was a great passion of mine and went on to study piano at Miami area magnet schools including Southwood Middle School and New World School of the Arts. Growing up, I entered many competitions and piano evaluations and was very successful, winning concerto competitions and performing with orchestras at an early age. I went on to study piano at a higher level In Spain, Scotland, and the U.S.
In addition to a diploma from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, which I received while studying at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow, I hold degrees from Stetson University in DeLand, FL and Florida International University in Miami, FL where I received a Masters in Piano Performance.
Since 2005 I have enjoyed teaching piano privately, in schools, and online. My students have performed in local and state competitions/evaluations including the Georgia and Florida Federated Music Clubs Festivals, Dade County Youth Fair, Barry University's Ivory Palms Piano Festival, the Royal Conservatory Music Development Program, Georgia Music Teachers Association local, regional, and state competitions, Atlanta MTA’s Romantic-Impressionistic Competition, Music Teachers National Association piano competition and Peachtree City’s Kiwanis Music and Arts Showcase to name a few.
I love being able to share all of my past studies and experience so that others too can make music a part of their lives to keep with them for years to come.
